Slots Freebies - Scottish victorious at PaddyPower hosted casino event
In online poker news, a group of Scottish poker players have won the
inaugural paddypowerpoker.com Grand Slam online casino event. The final
event was hosted at the Star City Casino in Birmingham, England last week.
The casino event was played by poker players from places such as England,
Ireland, Scotland, NOrthern Ireland, France, Sweden, Wale and more. The
casino tourney was video taped for an upcoming TV event scheduled to show
all over Europe on Sky Sports this coming March.
The casinos competition had a total team prize of �110,000. Individual
casino prizes were in the amount of �50,000 for the first place casino
winner, �30,000 for the second placed casino player, and �20,000 was awarded
to the poker player that came in third place.
This casino event brought together some of Europe's best poker players.
Seven teams of six poker players played their way to the final table where
the final eight played their hearts out. Players at the last table included
Scots - Phillip Starrs, Rory Mathews and Scott McQueston and others. |
